We’re bringing our candle-making workshops to Fishers Distillery in Aldeburgh, combining fragrance, botanicals and gin in a setting overlooking the North Sea.
Join Kinfolk Studio and Fishers Gin for a chance to slow down, make something by hand and discover more about the scents and flavours that bring our two worlds together.
And your candle vessel? A recycled Fishers Gin bottle, ready for its next chapter.
From gin bottle to handmade candle
We’ll begin with a warm welcome from both teams before guiding you through the candle-making process. You’ll explore our fragrances, choose your favourite and create your own candle inside a recycled Fishers bottle.
You don’t need any previous experience. We’ll guide you through each step, with plenty of time to ask questions and enjoy the making.
There’s something lovely about giving these bottles another purpose, especially in the place where their story began.
Explore the distillery
While your candles begin to set, the Fishers team will take you into the world of their coastal gin.
The experience includes:

- A botanical tea-making experience.

- A guided distillery tour, including an introduction to Watson, Fishers’ still.

- A tutored tasting of Fishers gins and seasonal cocktails.

- Time to browse the gift shop, including distillery-exclusive items.
We’ll then come back together to finish your candles.
From choosing your fragrance to discovering the botanicals in your glass, it’s a chance to follow your senses and enjoy some time by the Suffolk coast.
